Beacon is located on Commerce Road near the Old Greenwich border in Stamford. Our spacious facility centers around a student lounge in which students have the freedom to work independently, collaborate in groups, play music and socialize. Classes take place in comfortable classrooms that facilitate discussion and interaction–there is no sleeping in the back of the class at Beacon! Highlights include our open art studio, professional dance studio, new science lab, cafe-style dining hall and the dueling baby grands in the student lounge.
Our athletic facilities are housed at the New York Sports Club next door, where students have access to a full gym, pool, squash courts, aerobic equipment, yoga, pilates and martial arts. Physical education classes take place at the Sports Club and at nearby playing fields, parks and nature trails.
From Points South, Via 95
Heading north on I-95, get off at exit 6 and at the light at the end of the ramp make a left onto Harvard Avenue. Go straight through the first light and take a left at the first street, onto Commerce Road. You will see a large shopping center ahead on your right. At the first stop sign, turn left between two low brick pillars. The pillar on the left will say 44. Follow this drive up a slight rise as it hooks around our parking lot, which will be on your left. You enter the building by walking across a long blue ramp–if you see the ramp, you are in the right place!
From Points North, Via 95

From Greenwich, Via Route 1
Head east on East Putnam Avenue through Old Greenwich. Immediately after you see the “Welcome to Stamford” sign, you will pass Commerce Park Shopping Center on your right. Take the next right onto Harvard Ave, just east of Commerce Park. Turn right at the first street, onto Commerce Road. You will see the large shopping center ahead on your right. At the first stop sign, turn left between two low brick pillars. The pillar on the left will say 44. Follow this drive up a slight rise as it hooks around our parking lot, which will be on your left.
