Who are Beacon students? They are intellectually motivated individuals who embrace the challenges and rewards of a meaningful life. They are bright, independent, creative, inquisitive, caring, engaged and self-aware. They are athletes, artists, musicians, scientists, programmers, poets, scholars, linguists, dancers, designers, philosophers and mathematicians. They want something more out of their education, and they are willing to seek it out. We think they are pretty remarkable!
Our students play an integral role in the development of their programs; we have found that by enlisting them in the educational process, we can instill in them a sense of ownership and personal direction. Our goal as educators is to develop a relationship with our students and discover what inspires them. Only then can we help them grow as individuals, embrace their gifts and realize their potential.
