Advisory

Each Beacon student meets weekly with his or her advisor to track academic and personal goals. Additionally, our school-wide discussion series often becomes the backdrop for advisory discussions. The advisor is the point person on the student’s team and works to facilitate each student’s individual course of study. It is impossible for a student to slip through the cracks at Beacon, because there are no cracks. Unlike other private and public schools, Beacon employs dedicated advisors who work full time with a caseload of no more than forty students. We believe that our advisory system truly makes Beacon a unique educational experience.
