We deeply value the compassionate community we have at Beacon. We also value every effort our students make to take that compassion beyond the classroom. To this end, we encourage all of our students to give back to their community through volunteer work and involvement in community projects. The hours students spend volunteering are not only appreciated by the community but also officially recognized by Beacon on transcripts.
Students have opportunities throughout the year to participate in community service projects alongside other Beaconites and are encouraged to propose their own community service initiatives.
