Creativity lays the foundation for all learning. We charge each of our students with approaching all situations creatively and we believe that education should be synonymous with inspiration and passion. To this end, we welcome students who bring diverse gifts to our community; whether a painter, a photographer, a drummer, a singer, a dancer, or a poet, every Beacon student finds daily outlets for his or her creativity.Advanced instruction in the arts can share a place alongside the academic core of a student’s program. Likewise, weekly classes can enrich all students’ programs through electives targeting their interests. From graphic design to non-western percussion, from sculpture to stop motion animation, and from Bollywood dance to sustainable architecture, Beacon puts no limits on creative pursuits!
